Relief Style Information
  • Our three basic relief styles: 2-D flat relief, 2.5-D multi-level relief, and 3-D bas-relief.
  • These can be made of different materials, including natural solid wood, artist-painted High-Density-Urethane(HDU), metal-coated HDU, Sintra board, and Mahogany veneer wood.

2-D Giclee Economy Plaques

  • Our lowest price economy 2-D giclee printed plaques feature digitally-printed full-color giclee printed vinyl appliances mounted on a round or rectangular solid wood or acrylic base.
  • Giclee plaques do not have the dimensionality of our carved plaques, but are very attractive because of the high-resolution, vivid color printing process used by our high-end inkjet wide format printer.
  • The fact we use photos of an actual carved 3-D bas relief or 2.5-D multi-level or engraved plaque, rather than line drawings. They are gorgeous because of the very high quality glossy color printing.
  • These are very high quality prints, equivalent to printing methods used for reproductions of fine paintings.
  • These images are printed on long-lasting cast vinyl in brilliant, glossy colors, and the high-resolution prints look very realistic.
  • They can be mounted outdoors as well as indoors, and will last a 6 to 8 years or more even outdoors.

2.5-D Multi -Level Seals & Plaques

  • Multi-Level Plaques. Our carved 2.5-D multi-level or engraved hand-crafted and artist-painted plaques have prices about twice that of the 2-D flat plaques with giclee printed art.
  • These prices depend on the size, material, carving complexity, and number of colors. Prices for custom carved 18 inch diameter 2.5-D artist-painted HDU or stained wood custom plaques vary from $240 to $385. Prices increase with size.
  • About 80% of our military unit plaques are carved in 2.5-D multi-level flat or engraved relief, using High-Density-Urethane (HDU) as the substrate.
  • Multi-level and engraved relief are often combined with small features (e.g., tiny text) engraved in a flat lower area such as a banner.
  • V-carved engraved text is often used with a multi-level carved artwork.
  • These are very popular and look great.
  • HDU 2.5-D relief plaques carve faster and are much faster to paint than 3-D bas-relief plaques, so they have lower prices.
  • Most of our military and many of our government, university and corporate plaques are carved in 2.5-D relief.

Carved 3-D Bas-Relief & Artist Painted Plaques

    • Our premium plaques are carved in 3-D bas-relief, using wood (usually Mahogany, Cedar, or Redwood), or High-Density-Urethane (HDU) as the substrate.
    • These are higher-priced carved 3-D bas-relief artist-painted plaques, and have prices about 3 times that of the 2-D plaques.
    • These are very high quality plaques, which usually feature great seals, and are often ordered by higher level commands in the military services, federal and state government agencies and courts.

    • We design & fabricate Fully Custom Carved, Engraved & Sandblasted Wood, HDU and Metal-Coated 3-D (sculptured bas-relief) & 2.5-D signs & plaques for commercial, residential, government, and military.
    • These are made for exterior & interior locations, and last 10 to 30 yrs with little maintenance, with a 2 yr warranty.
    • We make sizes from 6 inches to 20 feet wide, and you can order from 1 sign to 1000 signs.
    • We will create a new original design for you at no cost; or we can duplicate another sign or make an existing design.
    • We use only the very best premium materials, and fabricate them using the finest craftsmanship.
    • We make all our products in the United States of American from American Materials, and deliver anywhere in the USA, Canada, and many overseas locations.
    • We have good turn-around times; from the time we receive a firm order on a custom sign or plaque, until we ship, it is 5 to 6 weeks. Duplicates or standard designs usually take 4 weeks. We also take rush orders, with a minimum time of 3 weeks for simple, small signs.
    • We are a "Green" company, and we use renewable, environmentally-friendly resources and donate funds to plant trees for every wood sign we sell.

    Shipping & Handling Schedules

    • Our normal shipping schedule will be approximately 6 to 7 weeks after receipt of an order.
    • Shipping and handling charges will be quoted on each seal order.

    Payment Procedures

    • For your convenience, we accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards, checks or money orders.
    • A 50% deposit is required for all orders. Balance due prior to shipping.
